Sub-forum 1 Capacity Building and Creating Leadership in Standardization
The sub-forum of “Capacity Building and Creating Leadership in Standardization” is a fixed part of the Qingdao Forum on International Standardization. This sub-forum will invite officials of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO),International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and DKE, leaders of the Standards Innovation Management Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, Chinese and foreign experts and scholars on standardization such as those from prestigious universities in China and abroad, and the winner of the ISO Next Generation Award. It aims at building a communication platform for universities, research institutions and standardization organizations in China and abroad, strengthening mutual exchanges and learning, promoting cooperation and development, and sharing ideas and methods of standardization talents education and training. The sub-forum will facilitate sharing experiences for talents education and training in standardization, discussing rules of standardization education and ability training, establishing standardization talents training system, and promoting standardization talents capacity building at home and abroad.

The sub-forum of “Standardization of New Energy and Direct-Current Diversified Applications” based on a global carbon perspective, gather forward-looking technological innovation achievements in the Direct- current ecological industry under the background of new energy evolution. Invite leaders of national regulatory departments in the fields of standardization, inspection, testing, and certification for energy supply, transmission and distribution, and power consumption, experts from IEC, European, American, Japanese, and Korean standardization organizations, authoritative technical institutions, and expert teams led by domestic academicians to jointly explore cutting-edge topics in the industry, accelerate the standardization process of the construction of new energy systems and the application of DC diversified technologies, and contribute wisdom to the global energy green transformation and the realization of carbon strategies.
Sub-forum 3 New Infrastructure Construction in Airspace, with Standards as the Foundation —— Driving the High-quality Development of the Low-altitude Economy through Standardization
The sub-forum of "New Infrastructure Construction in Airspace, with Standards as the Foundation —— Driving the High-quality Development of the Low-altitude Economy through Standardization" will convene leading domestic universities, research institutions, pioneering enterprises, technology service providers, relevant local government departments, and industry associations. The sub-forum will feature keynote speeches, outcomes releases, and other formats.Distinguished leaders from competent national ministries and internationally renowned experts have been invited to deliver keynote addresses on pivotal topics, including:Leveraging standardization to foster high-quality development of the low-altitude economy;Strengthening international cooperation in standardization;Developing new models of standardization services for smart low-altitude economic development.Participants will jointly explore new models and frameworks for the integrated development of the low-altitude economy and standardization. The sub -forum of “The 'Artificial Intelligence + Standardization' Action cultivates future industries” is jointly organized by the Qingdao Administration for Market Regulation, Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Hisense Group Holding Co., Ltd., and Qingdao Artificial Intelligence Industry Association.
This sub-forum will bring together renowned scholars from Volgograd State University in Russia, senior officials from the International Affairs Department of the "Russian Register" Certification Association in Russia and the Belarusian Institute of Standardization and Certification. It also specially invites national distinguished experts from Tongji University, authoritative experts from the China Electronics Standardization Institute, and technical leaders from Hisense Visual Technology Co., Ltd., as well as other domestic and international elites in the fields of artificial intelligence and standardization. The Sub-forum of "Standardized Approaches Empower Industrial Green and Low-Carbon Transformation" will invite representatives of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), World Sustainability Standard Organization (WSSO), World Resources Institute (WRI), along with standardization experts, scholars, and industry professionals from both domestic and international contexts. Focusing on carbon footprint management systems—including methodology, technology, standardization, tools, data, certification, and application. the conference adopts a multidimensional approach integrating standardization leadership, technological demonstration, and international collaboration. It aims to build a communication platform for universities, research institutions, and standardization bodies around the world, enhance global exchange and mutual learning, advance the internationalization of standards, accelerate the practical adoption of carbon footprint management systems, and promote fairness in global trade.
