The 2025 Qingdao Forum on International Standardization is hosted by Qingdao Municipal People’s Government, and organized by the Qingdao Administration for Market Regulation. The forum will be held from July 8th to 10th, 2025, in Qingdao. Themed on “High-Level Standards Leading High-Quality Development”, it will consist of one main forum, five sub-forums, including “Capacity Building and Creating Leadership in Standardization”,”Standardization of New Energy and Direct-Current Diversified Applications”,”New Infrastructure Construction in Airspace, with Standards as the Foundation —— Driving the High-quality Development of the Low-altitude Economy through Standardization”,”The 'Artificial Intelligence+Standardization' Action cultivates future industries” and ”Standardized Approaches Empower Industrial Green and Low-Carbon Transformation”, as well as several standardization activities such as achievement announcements .

The forum has invited Mr.Jo Cops , IEC President, Dr. Zhang Xiaogang, former ISO President, Mr.Sergio Mujica, ISO Secretary-General, heads of international and regional standardization organizations and national standard bodies, and other leading figures in various fields to deliver speeches or remarks.
